Relay For Life serves breakfast for dinner

Relay+For+Life+serves+breakfast+for+dinner

Relay For Life served breakfast for dinner in the second floor of the cafeteria as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Quinnipiac students could pay five dollars for their choice of breakfast foods. There was something for everyone to enjoy, from apples to french toast sticks. Chartwells donated all of the food to support the cause.

Relay For Life members thought breakfast would be a nice change from everyday cafeteria food.

Event organizer Travis Adamson said, “Breakfast is one of those things that a lot of kids like for dinner every so often.”

Student Jonathan Hurley loved the idea, saying, “I really love brinner [breakfast and dinner combined].”

Many students came out to the fundraiser in support of their own relatives with cancer. Student Anthony Contardo attended the event and said his aunt had cancer. Contardo has been a Relay For Life team captain as well.

Make sure to look out for Relay For Life’s other events this semester, having to do with skin cancer.
