Sleeping Giant State Park is located directly across the street from Quinnipiac University’s Mount Carmel campus entrance.

This isn’t the first time that an accident has occurred at the state park. In 2012, 18-year-old Tobias Engel died after falling over 200 ft off of the mountain.
