The following information was discussed at Nov. 16, 2016 Quinnipiac Student Government Association general board meeting:
That’s Not Okay Campaign
- A campaign to encourage students to speak up and respect each others differences
- The main goal is to bring QU together and to address discrimination issues
- Tabling sessions from December 5th-7th
- Final event Dec. 7th in the piazza (details are tba)
Rocky Top Student Center
- Chicken fingers and fries offered as to-go food
- Chobani station to be installed next semester
- Looking into new ways to utilize extra space
In-Progress Initiatives
- Meal plan being accepted at the TD Bank Sports Center
- More lights of the path between baseball fields and res halls
- Expand hours for the Bobcat Den to open earlier on weekends
