The last few weeks Q30 has been following the Student Government Associations’ ongoing impeachment processes regarding Sophomore Class Representative, Helen Dong and Sophomore Class President, Christopher Montalvo. After review from the newly-enacted impeachment committee, Dong was dismissed from her position last week. Montalvo’s impeachment review and vote have been scheduled for November 15th’s SGA general meeting, however, these plans have changed. Montalvo has stepped down from his cabinet position due to an unidentified conduct issue just days before the final vote on his possible dismissal. Montalvo marks the third member of the sophomore cabinet to change and the fifth member throughout all of SGA in this semester alone.
