Seth Rogen announced on Monday that he is launching his own weed company, Houseplant, in the United States.

He announced this via social media on Twitter. In an attached video, the celebrity shows off different products the company will sell, including ashtrays, lighters, and ceramics.

The marijuana will be available in California as soon as Friday.

The Toronto-based company was founded in May 2019.

Rogen’s public image is tied to marijuana. Not only does he advertise his love for it, but has starred in movies such as “Pineapple Express” which heavily showcases his use of the drug.

He does not mention if Houseplant will expand its distribution as more states legalize marijuana, but its growth hints toward the possibility.
