#THAT: 03/21/22

We have our very own Q30 TV president Joe Logrippo and our vice president Abby Blackmore here to give you the latest Hollywood scoop. We come to you live from our brand new, state of the art set. The hosts discuss Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming documentary, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews’ honeymoon, the Drake Bell and Josh Peck rivalry, as well as the 2022 BAFTAs being back in person. Joe and Abby chat about what they did over spring break and then toss it to the rest of our hashtaggers to hear about what everyone did over this fun filled week.

Then, viewers get a sneak peak at this year’s Student Media Showdown that airs this upcoming Friday. We hear from entertainment director Corinna Caimi on the star-studded competition this year. The hosts toss it to Manny Galicki for this week’s ‘Let’s Talk The Tok’ segment. Galicki discusses the latest love song trend occurring, Miranda Cosgrove’s favorite word and why fans are fascinated with the sound, as well as Clayton Echard showcasing his relationship with Susie through Tik Tok. Afterwards, Mason Glod joins us to discuss the latest and greatest movie trailer releases.

Corinna Caimi joins us for this week’s Hollywood News Update where she discusses Rachel Zegler not being invited to the Oscars, Britney Spears possibly releasing new music, and tells us about some Oscar wins we can expect to see this weekend.

Grace Doyle and Isabella Foley join us to give their review of Rex Orange County’s new album Who Cares?. Then, the hosts play a fun game of match that movie quote. Ben Kane joins as the game show host and tells the hosts he will be reading them a quote and then giving them two movie options to choose from, it’s up to them to choose the correct one. We end the show with some good news. Abby shares a story of an elementary school in California putting together a hotline to offer words of encouragement and Joe tells us about the Chancellor of Vanderbilt surprising employees with a bonus in their paychecks after these rough two years.

All that and more, from Hamden to Hollywood we are your source for Quinnipiac’s entertainment news!
