Parking for students is a constant discussion on the Quinnipiac campus. As of right now, sophomores are not allowed to park on the main campus. They are only allowed to park in the York Hill parking garage, West woods or the Whitney parking lot. SGA and Shannon Grasso are working to encourage sophomores to utilize the Whitney lot as it is closer to the main campus and has easy shuttle access. The Sophomore class cabinet held a recent meet and greet in conjunction with the department of public safety at Whitney lot. Shannon Grasso stressed how close the lot is to the main campus and even told students that they can request to go to the lot anytime they board a shuttle. Efforts to make parking easier still is a community discussion and will further develop as the Quinnipiac population grows. Kerry Golden has the full story.
