Jimmy Vesey scored twice to power Harvard to the victory as the Crimson led 3-0 after one period.
After the Bobcats cut the lead to one, the Crimson scored two empty net goals to push their lead from 3-2 to 5-2. The Bobcats must now wait and see if their position in the USCHO.com Pairwise Rankings holds to see if they will make the NCAA tournament.
Selection Sunday for the tournament is Sunday March 22, and Harvard can clinch it’s spot in the big dance with a victory over the winner of Friday night’s game between Colgate and St. Lawrence.
