Quinnipiac men’s soccer wins home opener against Saint Joseph’s

The Quinnipiac men’s soccer team dawned its new Adidas Uniforms and christened the new turf in the teams first game at the new QU Soccer complex.

Quinnipiac defeated Saint Josephs 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to earn its first win of the young season.

The Bobcats didn’t waste time in notching the first goal, as Matthew Taylor found the twine only four minutes in.

Saint Joseph’s had opportunities to score in the latter half of the game, but the Quinnipiac defense held strong to protect the clean sheet.

Quinnipiac has almost a week off before its next contest when it travels to Brown for a non-conference game next Friday.
