Beta Theta Pi hosted its annual philanthropy event, Stand Up Against Cancer, on April 30 in the Burt Khan Auditorium. The brothers partnered with the American Cancer Society for a night of standup comedy and stories from cancer survivors.
Students from various sororities, fraternities and other organizations on campus brought their best jokes and stories to the stage, with Andrew Koukoulas taking home the win at the end of the competition.
However, the night’s true purpose was to raise money for the American Cancer Society. After naming their winner, the brothers of Beta Theta Pi announced that they had raised $8512.08 for the cause.
