Keeping up with the Kardashians is officially coming to an end!
September 14, 2020
It is officially the end of an era because as of September 8th, Keeping up with the Kardashians is entering its last season.
The news came as a shock to fans who never expected the show to just come to a halt. Kim Kardashian first spoke out about the news through a post on Instagram. In it she posted a photo of the Kardashian clan during their first season. In her caption she wrote:
“Our last season will air early next year in 2021. Without Keeping Up with The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years. This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”

The reality TV series started all the way back in 2007 and continued to follow the lives of the Kardashian family for the next 13 years. Now, 20 seasons later, fans have seen the Kardashian’s lowest lows to their highest highs. The iconic family let the world into their lives each and every Sunday night. Keeping up with the Kardashians changed celebrity and entertainment culture forever, and has become a staple in reality television.
The show was aired through the E! Network and they have just released a statement to Variety about the ending of the show. In it they said, “E! has been the home and extended family to the Kardashian-Jenners for what will be 14 years, featuring the lives of this empowering family. Along with all of you, we have enjoyed following the intimate moments the family so bravely shared by letting us into their daily lives. While it has been an absolute privilege and we will miss them wholeheartedly, we respect the family’s decision to live their lives without our cameras.”
If there is one thing for certain, it’s that fans will incredibly miss the daily entertainment and chaos that the Kardashian family brought to the world through their show.
