Hamden, Conn – NLE Choppa has been announced as the 2025 Wake the Giant performer. The Quinnipiac Student Programming Board (SPB) announced the news on Monday, March 31. The artist will perform at the M&T Bank Arena on the York Hill Campus on Sunday, April 27.
NLE Choppa is originally from Memphis, Tenn., and previously went by the name YNR Choppa. His singles “Camelot” and “Shotta Flow” helped him become one of the biggest breakout rappers of 2019.
Last year’s Wake the Giant featured Flo Rida. In past years, SPB has hosted rapper Offset and “Saturday Night Live”’ members Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson.
Tickets are only available for Quinnipiac students. Undergraduate ticket sales will begin on Monday, March 31, at 3 p.m. If a 3+1 student is in their +1 year, they can purchase tickets with the undergraduate cohort. Graduate students can purchase tickets on Wednesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. if any remain available. Visit SPB’s social media pages to find more information about tickets.
