Quinnipiac University was busy with Valentine’s Day celebrations all day. Many students waited in line for care packages from home and gifts from significant others.
The cafeteria gave out 300 cupcakes for students to decorate with candy. Chartwells also decorated the cafe with hanging decorations. Students were able to purchase roses for three dollars each from Tau Kappa Epsilon, which is part of their annual rose sale fundraiser.
Some students really enjoyed all of the festivities.
Junior Nora Li said, “Valentine’s day is great. It gives people a reason to exchange gifts and be nice to each other.”
While other students had a more uncaring point of view.
Sophomore Patrick Cassidy said, “Honestly, it’s just another Friday night for me.”
