Quinnipiac University’s Student Programming Board (SPB) started preparing Friday for Fall Fest. The group of students helped setup barricades, assist with stage production, equipment transportation, etc. One of those students is SPB Production Assistant Brad Groleau, whose role expands further than event setup.
“I’m in charge of making sure that the guests are happy and I accommodate any of their needs, i’m pretty much everywhere and anywhere they need me to be. Groleau said. “So it’s a hectic day for me but it’s all worth it in the end to see the students enjoying themselves.”
Groleau and several other SPB members will be working throughout the rest of today and early tomorrow morning to setup for the event.
Fall Fest’s gates open Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with Timeflies scheduled to perform at 2:30 p.m. Students must show their QCard to enter the concert in South Lot, visitors must have a valid visitor’s pass. Bags larger than four inches in width, six inches in length, and one inch in thickness are not permitted.
