Hamden Conn. – The 502s have been announced as the 2024 Fall Festival Performer. The Quinnipiac Student Programming Board (SPB) in partnership with WQAQ 98.1 FM announced the news on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The performance will occur on the Mt. Carmel campus quad on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The 502s are from Orlando, Florida and have recently released their newest record, 2024’s “The 502s.” The six-piece band consists of Eddie Isola, Matthew Tonner, Sean Froehlich, Joe Capati, Nick Melashenko and Graci Phillips. The indie folk band was originally formed by Isola. Phillips is the newest member in the band and plays guitar.
Last year’s Fall Festival featured Peach Tree Rascals. In years prior, SPB and WQAQ have hosted Rebecca Black, Plain White T’s and AJR.
The event is free for students. In addition to the concert, there will be multiple other outdoor activities for students to do. Games and food will be presented by SPB throughout the day. More information is available on SPB and WQAQ’s social media pages.
