MEET THE CONTESTANTS

Matt McAuliffe:

Matt is a journalism major and a public relations minor within the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University as a member of the 2020 graduating class. Matt grew up in Milton, Massachusetts which is a small town just outside of Boston. He is all about taking life day by day and going one-hundred percent at everything you do. Matt is also a content coordinator for the Quinnipiac Athletic department and is a co-host on From The Bleachers on WQAQ 98.1 FM When it comes to the holidays, Matt is all about warm cookies, cuddling, and the Michael Buble Christmas album.

Kyle Levasseur:

Kyle is a senior from New Canaan, Connecticut and the president of Q30 Television. His perfect first date includes flying a private jet to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios, taking down a Frank Pepe’s white clam pizza and stargazing in the back of his pickup truck. Kyle’s claim to fame is being the ringmaster of his preschools' end of the year circus celebration. Follow him @Kyle_Levasseur on social media.

Jonathan Banks:

Jonathan is a sophomore journalism major from West Orange, New Jersey. He is an executive producer and men's hockey beat reporter for Q30 Television. Jonathan enjoys reliving the glory days of his soccer career in high school, hanging out with his friends, and of course, romantic comedies.

M.J. Baird:

MJ is a senior journalism major from Pembroke, Massachusetts. He is the sports director of Q30 Television, and a hockey beat reporter. MJ enjoys golfing, skiing and pranking Brendan Brooks into thinking something in the media suite is broken! Let’s get this bread.

Peter Dewey:

Peter is a junior at Quinnipiac University where he is the opinion editor and one of the basketball beat reporters for the Quinnipiac Chronicle. He is also a contributing sportswriter at the Meriden Record-Journal. Peter was born and raised in Cromwell, Connecticut. He is an avid sports fan and spends his free time playing pickup basketball and listening to music. His career goal is to be a beat reporter for an NBA team.

Josh Silverman:

Joshua is a senior journalism major from Westchester, New York. He is a beat reporter covering the Quinnipiac basketball teams for Q30 Television. Josh enjoys playing football and basketball along with watching stand up comedy and making fun of his roommates. He is actively trying not to get lost in the sauce.
