The recent winter storm left several feet of snow in the northeast. When more snow hit Connecticut Monday, it caused many school closings. But now, with even more snow on its way, Quinnipiac University students are getting fed up.
“At first I was kind of liking it because it’s my first semester here and I got to experience snow days and living in Commons and that was really fun,” freshman, Alexa Zeoli said. She added, “But now I’m kind of getting frustrated because I really want a full week of school,” said Zeoli.
Quinnipiac has yet to have a full week of classes this semester.
Alice Holland, Director of Student Health Services, says, “I always recommend that students stay warm and cozy inside and if they need to go outside, they should bundle up with a lot of layers,” said Holland.
Slippery conditions, shoveling and unplowed driveways may be a thing in the past for some but with snow expected later in the weekend students should expect another wintery mess.
