Thousands of students attend Quinnipiac each year, each spending their time differently. From the day John Patrick Hogan moved in, he became involved on campus.
A member of a new a cappella club, The Legends, approached John Patrick and encouraged him to audition for the musical group. After being accepted into the new group he was able to grow as the group itself grew.
John Patrick went from being a general member in the group, to holding leadership positions which pushed him to be more confident in other aspects of his life. He then joined Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and was selected to be in the Orientation Leader Program.
John Patrick is not the only one that is gaining confidence from being a member of the Legends.
“I think there are some people that come in that don’t really have their confidence, like I didn’t freshman year, but its great to be able to [push people] and to help them show their full potential and then hopefully they can express that in other ways outside of a cappella as well.”
