Freshman Sam Anas of the men’s ice hockey team has received another award. He has earned the Tim Taylor award for being named the 2013-2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Hockey National Rookie of the Year. He became the first player in Quinnipiac’s program history to win this award. He led the team and all Division I rookies with 22 goals and 43 points last season.
The men’s lacrosse team fought a nail-biting battle with the Golden Griffins of Canisius and there are highlights from this game.
The women’s lacrosse team looked to inch closer to a playoff spot with conference battles this past week against Iona and Marist.
As for the softball and baseball teams, they are both going in different directions as of the last week with only one of these two teams in playoff contention.
