In this week’s Q30 Sports Report, Paige Van Vort takes you through all of the action from this past week in Quinnipiac sports.

This week’s report starts off with the women’s tennis team. The Bobcats defeated the Fairfield Stags 4-1 to win the 2014 MAAC Championship. This marks the 3rd MAAC title for Quinnipiac since joining the program.

The men’s lacrosse team hosted Air Force on senior day this past weekend. The team also had their eyes on the Marist-Canisius matchup which would, ultimately, decide the teams postseason fate.

The women’s lacrosse team finished up their season traveling up to Niagara.

The baseball team had five games this past week as they tried to build upon their nine-game winning streak. The softball team, meanwhile, had three games including a double header against, conference foe, Marist.

Also, the men’s ice hockey team named their new captains for the upcoming season. We let you know who they are.
