It’s been almost a decade since the Quinnipiac baseball team has had a season as successful as this one.
The 2015 Bobcats have have amassed an overall record of 24-21, and are currently battling for the top spot in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a 14-7 conference mark.
Much of the squad’s success can be attributed to a strong offense, which has been led by 1B and cleanup hitter Vincent Guglietti. The East Haven native is batting .327 with eight home runs and 35 runs batted in the middle of the Quinnipiac lineup.
And with the MAAC tournament just around the corner, Q30 Sports’ Mark Spillane caught up with Guglietti to talk about the slugger’s approach at the plate.
