The Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey team fell in double overtime to the Colgate Raiders at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y. Friday night by a score of 3-2.
Quinnipiac held a 2-1 lead late into the third period, until Kyle Baun slipped one past Bobcats goaltender Michael Garteig with a minute to go. After no score in the first overtime, Tyson Spink scored off a rebound shot from Baun ten seconds into the second overtime, sending Colgate to their first ECAC Championship game since 1990.
