This week on Sports Paws, Lo Yarnall and Jack Main took the desk as a part of a special valentine’s day edition. They kicked things off by recapping the latest results and highlights of men’s and women’s basketball. Next, they welcomed basketball beat reporter Eric Kerr into the studio to play “matchmaker” by setting up some valentine’s day comparisons between Quinnipiac sports stars and some pro sports counterparts. After that, Lo and Jack took a look at the updated conference standings on both the men’s and women’s sides of the MAAC. 

Coming back from break, Lo and Jack rolled the highlights from the past week in Quinnipiac ice hockey, as the men’s team took on Brown at home, and took the road against St. Lawrence and Clarkson. Later on, women’s ice hockey beat reporter Ben Yeargin joined the show to discuss some bracketology for the ECAC Hockey postseason, and which matchup the Bobcats may find themselves in when the tournament starts. 

To finish off the show, Lo and Jack recapped the results of the men’s lacrosse season opener against UMass Lowell. As always, the hosts closed things out with a look at the Top 5 plays of the week.
