This week on Sports Paws, Clever Streich and Joey O’Donoghue took the desk to begin a new era in Q30 Sports by introducing the new set in Studio 125.  

They kicked things off by recapping the latest results and highlights of men’s and women’s ice hockey as the teams participated in post-season play. Next, Q30 men’s ice hockey beat reporter Ethan Logue reported from Lake Placid, New York, and analyzed the Bobcats’ performance in the ECAC Hockey Championship game. After that, Clever and Joey took a look at recent accolades and awards won by the men’s ice hockey team and revealed which seniors will return to the women’s ice hockey team for a graduate season.  

Coming back from break, Clever and Joey rolled the highlights from Quinnipiac’s run in the MAAC Basketball tournament. Later on, Q30 men’s basketball beat reporter Eric Kerr appeared from Atlantic City, New Jersey to discuss the men’s basketball team’s historic run to the MAAC semifinals.  

To finish off the show, Clever and Joey recapped the results from women’s lacrosse, as Quinnipiac faced UMass Lowell. As always, the hosts closed things out with a look at the Top 5 plays of the week and a look at the week to come in Quinnipiac athletics.
