Men’s ice hockey freshman Sam Anas has received the Tim Taylor Award as the 2013-2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey National Rookie of the Year. Along hearing that news, the men’s ice hockey team has been invited to participate in a tournament next season with Uconn, Sacred Heart, and the defending national champion Dutchmen of Union College.
The men’s lacrosse team continued it’s season against Canisius. Q30 Sports analyst Arthur Bailin plays “Buy or Sell” for the men’s lacrosse team.
As for the women’s lacrosse team, they looked to get closer to the playoffs with big matches against Iona and Marist.
The softball team looked to end their losing streak in a double header against Iona.
Out on the baseball diamond, Vin Guglietti was named the MAAC Baseball player of the week and Zach Daly sat down with the Bobcats slugger. John Delaney will be officially making the transition to head coach of the baseball team after Dan Gooley retires after this season.
