Quinnipiac women’s rugby lifted the National Championship trophy on Saturday, its second championship in as many years. Quinnipiac looked like the inferior team early after going down 12-0 to start the game. The team managed to even out the score with Central Washington, each scoring 17 points going into halftime.
The second half told an entirely different story with Quinnipiac turning the table, outscoring Central Washington 29-7 in the latter half of the game. How did they accomplish this feat? Michael Bonavita has more.
