The Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey team moved up to No. 3 in this week’s USCHO.com poll. Rand Pecknold’s squad added two more conference wins to their record book this past weekend against Harvard and Dartmouth. The Bobcats are the only team in the NCAA Division I without a loss or tie. The 10-0-0 record is the best start in the program’s D-I history.
Providence College remains No. 1 for the second week in a row despite not winning a game since October 31 against Colgate. The Friars posted two ties against the Boston University Terriers in a home and home series. Boston College remained No. 2 and received two more first place votes than Quinnipiac. The Eagles beat the Michigan State Spartans 6-4 over the weekend.
Harvard is the only other ECAC team still in the top ten. The Crimson dropped one spot to No. 8. Yale dropped to No. 11 following a 3-2 overtime loss to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Quinnipiac will face Connecticut on Tuesday night and then welcome Clarkson and St. Lawrence this upcoming weekend.

The Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey team remains eighth for the second week. It tied and beat Princeton in a home-and-home series Friday and Saturday.
Undefeated Wisconsin remained No. 1 after sweeping Minnesota Duluth. Boston College sits in second after shutting out Maine and New Hampshire.
ECAC teams Clarkson, Harvard, and Princeton also stayed in the top ten.
Quinnipiac will travel to Clarkson and St. Lawrence during the upcoming weekend.
