The Annual Wake The Giant concert took place on Sunday, April 30th, 2023. The major headliner for the event was the rapper Offset, introduced by Peter Cestaro and DJ Kahlucah as openers.

Isabella Foley and Liz Ippolito attended the event and spoke to students about their anticipation for the performances and overall experience. Jake Zaretsky spoke on his long-time admiration for Offset and excitement for the setlist. Student Programming Board Graduate Assistant, Kaylee Dillon, also shared the importance of securing a popular music artist for the SPB-hosted event this year.

The entire floor was sold out and students were given free merchandise and glow sticks to enjoy during the night. Thousands of fans flooded the arena and sang along to Offset’s greatest hits.
