News Team 30 will be doing a four-part series on racial diversity here at Quinnipiac University. The series will cover stories about the diversity or lack of diversity at the school.
In this episode of In the Search of Diversity, News Team 30 went out and interviewed students and faculty about whether they believed there was a racial diversity issue here at Quinnipiac.
Some students believed that there were, while others believed that the school is doing a great job in making sure the school is diverse. Chief Diversity Officer for Quinnipiac, Diane Ariza, told us in a sit-down interview that “all faculty members here at Quinnipiac must develop a strategic plan by the end of the year,” in regard to diversity.
Ariza also told us that the school is trying its best to not just be known for its campus, but for having an array of diverse students.
