In an exclusive interview, Q30’s Taylor Popielarz sits down with Quinnipiac political science professor Fodei Batty, once again, to discuss the growing Ebola crisis.
Popielarz and Batty cover a wide range of topics in this interview, including how this current outbreak began, and why healthcare in Africa needs to drastically be improved.
Batty also discusses how important it is for Quinnipiac students to stay informed about the crisis, noting that we all live in an interconnected world, and are part of a global community. He also explains why he feels the media is sensationalizing this health crisis, pointing out that there are people in west Africa who have overcome the virus, and are living normal lives again.
This interview follows Batty’s last sit down interview with Popielarz where the two discussed the fight against ISIS. Here is the link to the interview about ISIS: http://q30television.com/2014/10/03/news-team-30-what-is-isis/
