Quinnipiac’s Athletics and Recreation Department is sponsoring a 30-day yoga challenge, called “QU Kiss My Asana” during the month of April. Participants are encouraged to partner up for the challenge and do yoga everyday. Members can do as little as one pose or as much as an entire class. The challenge costs $30 for each partnership, which is donated to Mind Body Solutions.
Along with the 30-day challenge students can participate in yoga classes available on all 3 campuses and come to community classes held each Sunday to prepare for the upcoming week and have fun.
Michelle Wolff, a yoga instructor and co-creator of this event, created a calendar with a pose a day and was excited to bring this program to Quinnipiac and spread community awareness. “It’s just a fun way to get to know people. I have seen so many friendships form on campus with it,” Michelle said.
Mind Body Solutions is a non-profit organization that works with able and disabled bodies using adaptive yoga. The money raised goes towards the non-profit as well as the caregivers and healthcare professionals who work with the program.
