The recent snow and freezing temperatures has left Quinnipiac commuters with slippery and difficult driving conditions. Off campus residents needed assistance from AAA to start their cars. In addition, help from roommates to push their cars out of their driveways. Although Quinnipiac clears their campuses, it’s difficult for other students to get to class.
“It was pretty difficult because we didn’t have the access to plows and heavy duty equipment like the school does,” Off campus resident, Chris Lettera said. He added, “As soon as it starts snowing the school gets that cleared that out and we have to do it ourselves with shovels. Sometimes not even with shovels, and small man power.”
Frustrated students took to social media sites, like Twitter, to express their feelings about the University deciding to keep classes in session on Tuesday.
The next decent snow chance is to come Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
