HAMDEN, CONN. – Q30 Television and Quinnipiac Athletic Communications have announced a partnership to help enhance broadcasts for fall and spring home athletic matches, as announced on Friday, Sept. 8.
Q30 Television members will help serve as producers for QU’s Division I broadcasts, gaining professional experience and behind-the-scenes knowledge of a live game day production.
Q30 will continue to have producer roles throughout the year for the station’s five weekly shows, but this marks the first time in the history of the student organization where it will partner with QU Athletics on live event coverage on GoBobcats.com and ESPN+.
“Q30 prides itself on giving students real world experience in our state-of-the-art studio,” Q30 Television president Connor Coar said. “This new partnership allows our students to gain more additional knowledge about live event production.”
“Athletic Communications is excited to partner with Q30 as we continue to expand our live event production for all 21 varsity programs,” said Nick Solari, Quinnipiac Associate AD/Athletic Communications. “We’re happy to partner with many of our talented Quinnipiac students here on campus to see what we can accomplish moving forward.”
