The Quinnipiac women’s basketball team is going dancing.
Again.
With its 81-51 win over Marist on Monday afternoon in the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship game, Quinnipiac earned its third straight NCAA tournament berth.
Tricia Fabbri and her Bobcats completed the 3-peat, winning their 52 straight conference game in the process. For the senior class of Aryn McClure, Edel Thornton, Brittany Martin and Paula Strautmane, this makes the groups 3-1 overall in MAAC finals. For redshirt senior Jen Fay, it is her fourth title, as the team won her freshman year when she took her redshirt season.
Quinnipiac’s 30 point margin of victory is the largest ever in a MAAC championship game.
The NCAA selection show will take place on Monday, March 18. The Bobcats will host a watch party at the People’s United Center.
