Hamden, Conn – Quavo has been announced as the new 2025 Wake the Giant performer. The Quinnipiac Student Programming Board (SPB) announced the news on Monday, April 21. The artist will perform at the M&T Bank Arena on the York Hill Campus this Sunday, April 27.
The announcement comes ten days after NLE Choppa cancelded his performance citing health concerns.
Quavo is originally from Athens, Gerogia, and was previously a member of the rap group Migos along with Offset and Takeoff.
Last year’s Wake the Giant featured Flo Rida. In past years, SPB has hosted rapper Offset and “Saturday Night Live”’ members Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson.
According to an email from Quinnipiac’s Office of Student Life they will honor purchased tickets with their original designation. Ticktholders will also have the option to retain their ticket or request a refund.
