The junior has played in seven games over his time in Hamden, six of those in his freshman year. In that 2014-2015 season, Lawrence posted a 2.5 goals against average, 88.1 save percentage and made a total of 74 saves in 239 minutes.
Lawrence only got the starting nod once his sophomore year, on Nov. 17, 2015 against the University of Connecticut. He allowed two goals in twelve minutes and was pulled after the first period. Quinnipiac went on to win the game 6-2, and that marked the last time Lawrence ever saw regular season ice-time as a Bobcat.
Quinnipiac is coming off an ECAC weekend sweep, losing both games to Princeton in a home-and-home series. The Bobcats are 10-7-2 overall and 6-4-1 in conference.
With the addition of Lawrence to the roster, Colby will now have four goaltenders listed. Colby College is in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and currently has an overall record of 5-2-1, and 4-1-1 in conference. The White Mules are tied for second in the NESCAC with Tufts University, behind Hamilton College.
Lawrence will be eligible to play for the White Mule’s immediately, per NCAA rules.
