Sports Paws: 10/28/19

Jack Main and Steven Pappas hosted this week’s edition of Sports Paws.

The show started off by recapping the men’s soccer teams win over Monmouth and loss to Iona. Men’s soccer beat reporter Ryan Flaherty joined the guys in studio to offer his input on the team’s performance thus far.

Meanwhile the women’s soccer game ended in a 1-1 draw with Manhattan on Wednesday. The first half of the show wrapped up with them bumping it over to volleyball to talk about their 3-0 loss to Fairfield over the weekend.

The men’s and women’s ice hockey teams both had games last weekend. The men soundly defeated Vermont 4-0 and placed ninth in the latest USCHO Poll. Tom Krosnowski hopped on the show to predict the team’s next five games.

The women’s team swept Sacred Heart in the two games they played.

Field hockey lost to Old Dominion on Friday, but beat Brown on Sunday for head coach Becca Main’s 200th career win. The team is now 4-13 overall.

The show concluded with rugby’s season finale against Army, and of course, the top five plays of the week.

All that and more, only on Sports Paws.
