Quinnipiac women’s basketball coach Tricia Fabbri speaks with Q30 Sports’ Jon Alba immediately after her team’s 64-47 victory against Siena College in the 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals Sunday afternoon.
The Bobcats will now head on to their second-consecutive MAAC Championship Game, their third conference title game in as many years. Last year’s game saw Quinnipiac lead by 11 at halftime against Marist College, but drop the game in the final minutes.
Sunday’s win put Quinnipiac at 30-3 overall on the season, with the team sporting a 22-0 record against MAAC teams. It will face either Marist or Fairfield in the title game Monday evening.
