Bobcats Holiday Stats in the MAAC

It’s the holiday season and Quinnipiac women’s basketball began their MAAC play during this holly jolly time of the year. With games on Dec. 17, Dec. 19, Dec. 29, and Dec. 31 so far, how have the Bobcats done statistically in their Holiday MAAC play?

 

Wins vs. Losses

Throughout this four-game holiday stint in the MAAC, the Bobcats have been able to maintain a 75% success rate. Bobcats head coach Tricia Fabbri and her squad started off their MAAC play with a close loss to Iona 57-54. They have since gone on a three-game winning streak defeating Manhattan, Saint Peter’s, and Mount St. Mary’s.

 

 

 

Team Statistics

The Bobcats have also contributed to their team’s conference stats with the holiday block of games by averaging about 38.6% in field goals, 71.2% in free throws, and 33.8% in three-point field goals.

 

 

 

 

Individual Player Points

Mikala Morris leads the Bobcats in in-conference points with a total of 58 which is followed by Cur’Tiera Haywood (48) and Jackie Grisdale (41). Overall, as a team, the Bobcats have scored 245 points in four MAAC games.

 

 

 

This holiday stint and stat recap is just the start of what’s to come in MAAC play for head coach Tricia Fabbri and the rest of the Bobcats women’s basketball squad. They will continue to play in their conference through early March in order to gear up for the MAAC Tournament.
