It was a high energy practice on Saturday at The College of Saint Rose for the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team. That’s after a 39-point victory over Monmouth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals.
But Sunday should pose a more difficult threat for the Bobcats. Quinnipiac faces Rider at 11 a.m. in the semifinals, a rematch of last year’s MAAC title game.
Junior guard Brittany Martin is expected to continue to lead Quinnipiac’s second unit. Martin is averaging 4.6 points per game in nearly 12 minutes a night.
Q30 beat reporter Josh Silverman and Martin discuss her leadership off the bench, a potential championship game matchup with Marist and even her dance moves in this exclusive interview.
