The No. 1 Quinnipiac women’s basketball team was given a bit of a scare in the quarterfinals of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament. Tied with Canisius at 57 with under two minutes to go, Quinnipiac’s postseason experience was enough to give it the win, 63-58.
The Bobcats now get a day to rest before taking on either Siena or Iona in the semifinals on Sunday. The day off is compliments of winning the MAAC regular season.
