A shuttle accident has been reported at 12:55 p.m. on New Road. There were 11 students on the shuttle at the time and according to Hamden Police, no injuries have been reported.
This is the fourth accident this week involving shuttles. On Wednesday morning, a shuttle was turning into the New Road entrance when a car T-boned it. On Thursday a West Woods shuttle was reversing when it knocked a lamp post over. On the same day, a shuttle backed into an SUV causing minor damages to the car.
According to a student who did not want to be identified, the driver thought the shuttle was in park when it was actually in reverse.
