This week on the Newscast, Vanessa Blasi and Hannah Mirsky started off with breaking news. There was an attempted burglary at one of the Quinnipiac-owned campus houses on Kimberly Avenue. A suspect has been found and is in custody now. With COVID numbers on the rise on campus, the anchors take a look at Quinnipiac’s COVID dashboard.

Thanksgiving break is right around the corner and unlike last year, students will be provided shuttle services to and from Union Station. As study-abroad opportunities return, Ethan Logue finds out what this will look like for the Spring semester. The anchors discuss how the College of Arts and Sciences is suffering from the hiring freeze after introducing the environmental studies program a year ago. Ask Away was held a week ago, Vanessa and Luca Triant were there and brings you a recap.

Gas prices are rising and with the commuter parking fee being imposed next semester, Olivia Kettell finds out what commuters feel. Gage Kilborne is in the studio to talk about the latest from Capitol Hill, followed by Averial-daja Evans with updates from the Rittenhouse trial and Keith Savage recaps the games over the weekend.
