Q30 Newscast: 3/27/19

Emma Carman and Paige Meyer anchor this week’s newscast.

Brooke Reilly gives a recap of QTHON 2019 and the changes that were made to make this year’s event so successful. Participants raised $332,567.12 this year for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

The Student Government Association has reconstructed its organization by adding new seats for the 2019-2020 school year. These include two multicultural senators, one international senator, one commuter senator, a veteran senator and a student athlete senator.

Matt Fortin gives an update about Clubhouse Cafe and it’s future. The property is currently for sale.  

Bryan Schwartz is live in studio with a full weather report on this week’s weather and if students can expect any more snow in the future.

Luca Triant gives a national update and updates us on the Jussie Smollett case.
