Q30 Newscast: SGA Special Elections, RecWell Grand Opening, VP for Equity & Inclusion Leaving

Keith Savage and Gage Kilborne host the first Newscast of the semester. To start off the show, Samantha Perelli has the results of the recent SGA Special Elections for Senior Senator; Health, Wellness and Accessibility Senator, and Commuter Senator. Katie Coen has all the updates on the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Recreation and Wellness Center. Q30 spoke with the Vice President for Facilities and Capital Planning about the construction of the new South Quad and how this will affect campus navigation for students. Gage discusses a new School of Education course on anti-racism. Olivia Kettell spoke with Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Leadership Development, Donald Sawyer, about his leaving at the end of the semester to begin a new position at Fairfield University.
