Last night, Quinnipiac University was an answer to a question on “Jeopardy!” receiving national recognition.

The category was “Colleges East of the Mississippi from K to Q.”

The show’s host, Alex Trebek, asked the question, “Let’s take a poll. Does at least one of you three know this ‘Q’ university in Hamden, Connecticut?”

Contestant, Rick Terpstra, answered the question both correctly and with the right pronunciation.

The Student Programming Board hosted a “Jeopardy!” watch party at 7 p.m. in the piazza so that students had an opportunity to watch.
