Bobcat Breakdown: Field Hockey, Volleyball on the Road Again and Women’s Soccer wins over Niagara

In the third episode of Bobcat Breakdown, Clever Streich hosts in a strictly women’s sports special. Emily Sweeney and Keith Savage make their debuts on the desk as analysts to debate field hockey, volleyball, and women’s soccer.

Emily breaks down the women’s field hockey team’s well documented struggles with penalty corners after going 1-for-31 at home this season so far in a win over UC Davis on Monday. Keith and Emily also discuss whether the field hockey team can win against #14 Old Dominion after already beating #22 Maine in early September and why they think the Bobcats can defeat the Monarchs, but could also fold under the pressure at home.

After an exhilarating first half of the show, everyone on desk discuss the volleyball squad and the issues that they have been having with not playing a single home game until Oct. 5 and the language barrier that comes with having teammates that come from around the globe. Women’s soccer also makes a huge 4-0 statement win over Niagara this past Saturday but one of the analysts think differently.

Finally, Clever talks about the QBSN Game of the Week and close it with Final Roars.
