Bobcat Breakdown: Loss to Colgate, Preview the NCAA Tournament, Women’s Basketball Transfer Portal

In the 19th episode of Bobcat Breakdown, Julia Barcello makes her Q30 sports debut as host, alongside Andrew Reynolds and Beckett Calkins.

To start the show off, the two recap the men’s ice hockey ECAC semi-final matchup between Colgate and analyze why they lost and how this slip-up might affect them as they head to Bridgeport, CT for the start of the NCAA Tournament. Sticking on the ice the women’s ice hockey team lost to Ohio State in triple overtime in the NCAA Tournament, with their season now closed, Andrew and Beckett debate on who their MVP is.

After the break, the boys hit the court and wrap up the men’s and women’s basketball seasons, as their season has also come to an end after Atlantic City. The transfer portal is open and the women’s basketball team is losing three start players, Mikala Morris, Rose Caverly, and Mackenzie Helms, the boys discuss the teams biggest need heading into next season.
