Pregame: Quinnipiac men’s basketball vs. Monmouth

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament rolls on Saturday night when No. 3 Quinnipiac men’s basketball team plays its first game against No. 6 Monmouth with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Quinnipiac played Monmouth twice in the regular season, the Bobcats winning both times. When the two teams played in Hamden the game needed two overtime periods to decide a winner, with Quinnipiac prevailing a close one 89-83.
