With one addition in guard Bol Akot joining the Quinnipiac men’s basketball recruiting class last week, there comes another with forward Elias King for the 2020-21 season.

Transferring from JUCO Santa Monica College, King is a player who can thrive in Baker Dunleavy’s system, being able to shoot the ball from deep and score from all over the court.

With the losses of Kevin Marfo and Nathan Davis to transfer and graduation of Aaron Falzon in the forward rotation, King can come in right away with the Bobcats and get potential minutes from the start.

While at Santa Monica, King averaged 14.5 points a game, while shooting efficiently from the field, at 51.4% from the field and 41.9% from three. King scored his career high in his last game with Santa Monica, scoring 29 points in a 77-68 loss to Riverside.

King comes from Sacramento, CA and went to Jesuit High School before committing to Santa Monica.
